Our Activity
Well-known people say:
The World Association of the Belarusans "Batskaushchyna"
helps us not to forget where we are from, not to lose each other,
i.e. not to be deprived of our historical prospects.
Uladzimir Arlou
To my mind, "Batskaushchyna" can help Belarusan
society enter the path, that will make us defend the national
unity and fight for the independent, sovereign Belarusan statehood.
Ales Barshcheuski
The Belarusans, scattered all over the world, need
"Batskaushchyna" because without the Association, without an integral
rebirth of their culture, language, and economy, they will manage
neither to build their independent home, nor to preserve their
presence in the world as a separate nation.
Radzim Haretski
In this context, when the Republic of Belarus is
entering the world as an independent state, the WAB "Batskaushchyna"
plays an important role in consolidating the Belarusan Diaspora,
concerning the economic and cultural building in Belarus.
Janka Zaprudnik
"Batskaushchyna" is a reflection of our hope of
getting gathered together.
Irena Kalada-Smirnou
The biggest problem of the Belarusan national movement
was absence of an organization, that would help associations of
countrymen abroad in their work, and that would assist with the
Diaspora's rapprochement with the Fatherland. Indisputably, "Batskaushchyna"
has become that organization.
Vitaut Kipiel
In the past and, possibly, in the future, the Association
"Batskaushchyna" played and will play the key role in the process
of our Fatherland's national palingenesy.
Barys Kit
The WAB "Batskaushchyna" is the unique organization
in the world, that has succeeded in uniting under the national
symbol all the Belarusans abroad, who are not indifferent to the
fortune of our Fatherland.
Khviedar Niunka
Thanks to "Batskaushchyna", I have got acquainted
with a lot of wonderful Belarusans abroad, who have preserved
and adorned with modern intelligence the congenital Belarusan
modesty, kindness, quick-wittedness, and tenderness.
Stanislau Shushkievich
